View beautiful rolling countryside; see the women working in their gardens & flower gardens, laundry flapping in the breeze & children playing in the yard. Watch the farmers working the fields with the help of the sturdy draft horses.

Monday Oct 23 – Early morning departure London & area – crossing at Sarnia (have your PASSPORT) in to the UNITED STATES after a quick break at Duty Free store. Travel through Michigan and then off thru-way to travel along local highways into Holmes County, Ohio – where the largest concentration of Amish Mennonite people live. Enjoy a welcome reception at our late afternoon arrival at The Comfort Inn. Rest and relax a bit before our departure for an Amish Style Dinner at Joe and Anna Erb’s which will certainly take away the hunger pains.
Evening on your own to relax, enjoy the pool, or get acquainted with your new friends.

Day 2 – Much to see!”
Tuesday Oct 24 – Deluxe continental Breakfast at the Inn. Our favourite guide, Mary will meet us and go to Famous Endings Museum leaving there on a back-roads tour of the Amish Countryside with a stop at Hersberger’s Amish Bakery.
Lunch on your own at Farmstead Restaurant followed by a little time at the antique shop next door.
Now off to Lehman Hardware, not only women, but men get lost in this store – if you can’t find it- you won’t find it anywhere! It truly is a step from the ‘past into the future”.
A visit to Guggisburg Cheese, then a German dinner at Chalet in the Valley, before returning to the Inn.
“Day 3 – Carvings to Comedy”
Wednesday Oct 25 – Deluxe continental Breakfast at the Inn. Mary, will meet us & depart to Warther Carvings. We will the see the World’s largest working Cuckoo Clock followed by some time to browse and shop. At the Amish Country Flea Market lunch is available on your own, as well as browsing and shopping.
Later that afternoon we visit the Walnut Valley Broom & Gift to see how they are made and look through their store. We have an early Buffet Dinner at Der Dutchman before going to the Amish Country Comedy Barn to finish the evening.
“Day 4 – Return & Duty Free Shopping”
Thursday Oct 26 – Sad to say farewell to this quaint friendly part of the world but we must pack our bags, eat our breakfast, board our coach for our return back to Ontario with a stop at Duty Free.
