Travel through Michigan then off thru-way to travel along local highways into Holmes County, Ohio – where the largest concentration of Amish Mennonite people live. Day 2 - Oct 22, 2019

Deluxe Continental Breakfast at the Inn. We will meet our guide and head to Famous Endings Museum. We then make a stop at Coblentz Chocolates to watch how their products are made while enjoying a sample. Lunch on own at Walnut Creek Cheese, followed by a little time to shop. After lunch, we see the World’s Largest Cuckoo Clock and then depart for a backroads tour of the Amish Countryside with a stop at Hershberger’s Amish Bakery. Buffet dinner and Show at the Amish Country Comedy Barn. After dinner return to Inn for good night’s rest.

Day 3 - Oct 23, 2019

Another enjoyable breakfast before meeting our guide once again to depart for Lehman’s Hardware. Not only women, but men get lost in this store! If you can’t find it here, you won’t find it. It truly is a step from the past into the future. We will then ‘Experience The Life of Christ and Amazing Grace- the journey of Paul”. Lunch on your own at the Cracker Barrel, followed by some time to browse and shop. We will go to Heini’s Cheese, then a stop at the Walnut Creek Antique Mall before some stopping at the Shops of Dutch Valley. We will enjoy a German Dinner at Dutch Valley. After dinner, we will return to the Inn for some time to relax before getting organized for our departure in the morning.

Day 4 - Oct 24, 2019

Sad to say farewell to this quaint friendly part of the world but we must pack our bags, eat our breakfast, board our coach and make a stop at Famous Warther Carvings (you can bring your knives to be sharpened). These carvings are a must to see- you won’t believe the talent! We then commence our return trip back to Ontario, with many memories and a stop being again made at Duty-Free. ETA all depends on border crossing – hopefully, early evening.

Appropriate stops will be made at the discretion of director and driver.
